Alejandra Aburdene

Alejandra Aburdene is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a graduate of York College, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, and Adelphi University, where she received her Master’s degree in Social Work. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and brings over 14 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings.

She specializes in supporting teens navigating anxiety, emotional challenges, family dynamics, and life stressors. Her primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which she uses to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while building effective coping strategies.

She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. Her goal is to meet clients where they are, build on their strengths, and empower them with the tools needed to navigate challenges, increase confidence, and promote overall well-being.
