Getting connected is simple.

Fill out our GET CONNECTED form to be paired with a counselor.

A counselor will reach out to you within 48 hours and set up an introductory call so you can make sure you’re a good fit.

You will discuss your insurance, be sent intake forms, and set up your first session with your counselor.

You will meet with your counselor for an in-person or teletherapy 60-minute intake session to review what brought you into therapy and how you would like to start your journey.

We look forward to meeting you.

So what happens in the initial sessions?

To start, we will make every effort to ensure you feel welcome, safe, and taken care of. We recognize the need for quality services and nourish a non-judgmental space that caters to cultural diversity, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and social justice responsiveness.

During the first few sessions, there is minimal note writing to obtain basic demographic, history, and background to understand what brought you into counseling. In the following sessions, we establish goals collaboratively and choose the best modality for treatment. We typically meet for 45-minutes weekly and move to biweekly or monthly sessions, depending on your progress or needs.

We do not prescribe medication however, if you are interested in psychopharmacology, your clinician can refer you to a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner, or we can explore options with your primary care physician.

You are always welcome to make any request or ask questions regarding the therapy process.

Check your insurance.

Once you’re connected to a therapist, they will walk you through the process of submitting intake forms, convey the details of your insurance plan, and how therapy sessions begin.
